RANKING QUALIFIERS FOR 2019 BDO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CONFIRMED

The ranking qualifiers for the 2019 BDO World Championship have been confirmed after the conclusion of the 2018 ranking season.

Mark McGeeney will be seeded first at the 2019 BDO World Championship, while second seed Glen Durrant will be drawn on the other side of the bracket. Tony O’Shea makes his return after failing to qualify last year for the first time since 2002.

Andy Hamilton (men’s ) and Laura Turner (ladies) currently sit on the stand-by places. If the winner of the Winmau World Masters has qualified already for this tournament, they will enter this event as well.

The next edition of the BDO World Championship will be held from January 5-13. Glen Durrant has won the last two editions at Lakeside, after beating Danny Noppert and Mark McGeeney respectively.
