The match between Daryl Gurney and Gary Anderson at the World Grand Prix had a remarkable ending. ‘Superchin’ won the game 3-0 and reached out his hand to shake the Scotsman’s hand.
Anderson shook his hand, but seemed to add some angry words with it as well. ‘The Flying Scotsman’ then made a gesture implying that Gurney was talking behind him when he was throwing his darts. However, the Northern Irishman did not seem to agree and made that clear to the two-time world champion.
Gurney: "Gary was trying to say I was mumbling behind him. I've never mumbled in any game I've ever played in. Honestly, I'm disappointed in him, I'm a big darts fan and I'm a big fan of Gary Anderson. I'm not best pleased really."
