SMITH WHITEWASHES VAN BARNEVELD TO FINISH TOP OF GROUP, RATAJSKI THROUGH TO KNOCKOUT STAGES WITH WIN OVER SMITH-NEALE

Krzysztof Ratajski is through to the knockout stages of the Grand Slam Of Darts in his first ever appearance in the competition.

Ratajski did so after smashing World Master, Adam Smith-Neale 5-1 in a comprehensive victory. It was a 101 average for the Polish Eagle who continues his excellent form that he has shown as of late.

Michael Smith finished top of the group though with a whitewash win over Raymond van Barneveld. Smith only needed three legs to knock out Barney and secure qualification.

‘Bullyboy’ even went two levels better winning 5-0, laying down a marker for the next round. It will now be a potentially quality clash between Smith and Michael van Gerwen on Thursday night.
