'The Heat'

Damon Heta

Heta has enjoyed a meteoric rise since joining the professional circuit in 2020, establishing himself as Australia’s premier player.

The Perth native rose to prominence with a sensational victory at the Brisbane Darts Masters in 2019, defeating James Wade, Gary Anderson, Simon Whitlock and Rob Cross to become just the second regional qualifier to lift a World Series of Darts title.

Having claimed a PDC Tour Card in January 2020, the Australian clinched his first ranking title in Niedernhausen in September, before enjoying a run to the Grand Slam quarter-finals in November.

Heta added a second Pro Tour crown to his haul in February 2022, before steering Australia to their first World Cup of Darts success alongside Simon Whitlock in June.

Damon currently has 2 televised titles and 4 non-televised titles to his name.

To be in the top 32 and to qualify for all TV tournaments. I would like a few more pro tour wins also.

Good preparation leading into the game and making sure my throw feels right and making myself feel comfortable at the oche. I get there at least 3 hours prior to playing and always have a few throws on the board I will be playing on if possible.
