Wilson, Krcmar & Kenny claim final World Championship places

James Wilson, Boris Krcmar and Nick Kenny claimed the last three places in the 2021/22 William Hill World Darts Championship at the Tour Card Holder Qualifier in Barnsley on Monday.

The qualifier offered a last chance for PDC Tour Card Holders to book their place at Alexandra Palace for darts' biggest event which will take place from December 15-January 3.

Two-time TV quarter-finalist Wilson secured a fifth successive World Championship appearance with a 7-5 defeat of Mike De Decker in their board final.

Croatia's Krcmar defeated Peter Hudson 7-3 in a decider to qualify for his third World Championship, while Welsh prospect Kenny beat Gordon Mathers 7-3 to make it back-to-back Ally Pally appearances.

Three spots were on offer at the qualifier after Ted Evetts - a ProTour Order of Merit qualifier - won Sunday's PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship final.

The draw for the 2021/22 William Hill World Darts Championship will take place live on Sky Sports News and through the PDC's Facebook Page at 1915 GMT on Monday November 29.
