Bounce outs are inevitable, even for experienced players, so to protect the wall behind your dartboard we recommend our Harrows Dartboard Surround. To preserve your floors whilst playing, try our heavy duty dart mats, which also feature a clearly marked oche, to ensure you play from the correct distance.

To replicate a professional tournament dartboard setup you’ll need to ensure the bullseye hangs 5 feet 8 inches (1.73m) from the floor. The oche (throwing line) should be marked at 7 feet 9.25 inches (2.37m) from the board. The easiest way to ensure the correct throwing distance is to use one of our durable darts mats. These compact, non-slip mats protect your floor from stray darts and have a built-in oche.

Standard room lighting can cast shadows on your board, which can make it tricky to see the board beds, particularly if you’re going for a tight grouping.
