Frequently Asked Questions
The full NxtGen setup is available for £125 per lane, covering all equipment and resources listed.
Yes. All of the equipment supplied through NxtGen is yours to keep, so your school can continue using it beyond the programme.
The programme is currently open to UK secondary schools with students in Year 7 and above.
Schools accepted into the programme will receive a complete darts education package, including:
- Teacher-written lesson plans to integrate darts into the curriculum
- Dartboards and surrounds, based on the number of lanes you set up
- Oche mats for each lane
- A selection of darts, shafts, and flights per lane
- A full setup guide to help you plan lanes around your available space
We’ll work with you to design a setup that fits your school. Most schools can create a lane in a space similar to a small classroom, sports hall, or multipurpose area.
Yes. The programme uses protective surrounds and backdrops, with structured lesson plans to ensure darts are played in a safe and controlled environment.
Not at all. Suggested lesson plans are written by teachers and are simple to follow, so no prior darts knowledge is required.
Darts is rapidly growing in popularity across the UK, but many students still haven’t had the chance to try it due to lack of access or equipment. We believe darts is more than a sport. It builds focus, maths skills, coordination, and confidence. By combining it with education, we are helping to inspire the next generation to get involved in the game.
NxtGen creates opportunities for fundraising through darts events, competitions, and community nights. Schools can also rent out their space for darts activities, generating extra income alongside the educational benefits.
